Australian Mountain Doodles come in a variety of sizes. At Hazel River Doodles, we primarily focus on Miniature Australian Mountain Doodles. Our mini's will average around 20 - 30 pounds in weight, and 19 - 22 inches in height, depending on the sex and genetic influences.
Our doodles are come with a standard wavy doodle coat. However, genetic influences can result in coats that are slightly more straight, or slightly more curly.
The colors of Australian Mountain Doodles vary a lot. Our puppies are typically either blue merle tri color, chocolate merle tri color, black tri color, or chocolate tri color. Each puppy has its own unique coat and color, making your puppy truly unique.
Australian Mountain Doodles are an incredibly people-oriented breed. They are very eager to please their owners and are typically highly food motivated. Paired with high intelligence, we consider them to be an easily trainable breed, making house training a breeze.
Australian Mountain Doodles enjoy a moderate amount of exercise and mental stimulation to ensure they are happy and healthy. Engaging them in walks, playing fetch, or playing tug-of-war are all effective ways for them to expend their energy.
